Who Are We

 

LSU Alumni of San Diego works to support the programs of the LSU Alumni Association in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and to serve the local San Diego community in projects related to our mission.

 

To raise funds for these endeavors, we host the largest crawfish boil in the world! Over 20,000 pounds of crawfish are trucked from Louisiana to sunny San Diego, seasoned and spiced just right for the Annual Crawfish Boil on Memorial Day weekend. More than 4,000 people come together - LSU Alumni, families and friends.

 

We support scholarships and professorships at LSU, in addition to supporting the San Diego community with charitable donations. Make sure to check back for information about football viewings and other athletic and social events during the year.

LSU ALUMNI OF SAN DIEGO SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION & APPLICATIONS

Once students have applied and been accepted to LSU, they are automatically put into the system of scholarships offered (this includes chapter scholarships, flagships, etc.) From there the university system matches students to scholarships they meet the criteria for. Based on those who fit the criteria, the student is chosen through a "lottery pull" and awarded the scholarship that they meet.
